Aptamer synthesis

Aptamer is a short strand of DNA or RNA, which can be folded to form a unique three-dimensional structure and bind specifically to the target, thus regulating the function of the protein. They have affinity and specificity, and can reach levels similar to monoclonal antibodies. At the same time, they are not easily affected by environmental factors such as pH and temperature, and can be screened in vitro without immunogenicity or toxicity (the mechanism of action is shown in the figure below).

Aptamer mechanism of action

There are currently two Aptamer drugs on the market, as shown in the table below. Biosyntech can provide chemically synthesized Aptamers with good stability and high purity.
