sgRNA synthesis
sgRNA plays a crucial role in accurately identifying target gene sequences in the CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing system. By using ribonucleoprotein (RNP) formed by Cas9 and sgRNA to replace plasmids in transfection mode, sgRNA has gradually become a more efficient approach for CRISPR/Cas9 technology due to its advantages of fast and safe delivery, lower off target effects, and higher editing efficiency. The mechanism of action and composition structure are shown in the following figure.
